Where will you be working? You will be working for a leading maritime waste processing company that offers a wide range of services to organisations and people in the ARA region. They anticipate and evaluate new legislation, develop and evaluate environmental technologies and research the practical requirements of their customers in order to provide successful and sustainable maritime waste management services. This expertise enables them to tailor their services perfectly to the needs and requirements of both the ports and the shipping industry.
Who are we looking for?
Do you meet the requirements? Then we are looking for you with immediate effect! You will be working as a skipper on bilge boats in and around IJmuiden. Please note: these are day shifts!
As an inland shipping skipper, you are responsible for your vessel. You sail, but you also handle the related administration and take care of safety and maintenance on board. You work day shifts, but you may also be called in for emergencies. This is a long-term job at a young, dynamic company.
What you bring
For the position of inland shipping skipper, it is important that you meet the following requirements:
- Holder of a boatmaster's licence (groot vaarbewijs) A/B
- Marine radio (marifoon)
- Radar
- ADN basic
- Living in IJmuiden or the immediate area;
- Own transport;
- Flexible attitude.
