About the client
The shipping company has been a household name in Amsterdam's city centre for more than 60 years. Many tourists 'experience' Amsterdam in a special way on one of its canal cruise boats. More than 140 employees look after not only the canal cruises, but also special products such as the Candlelight Cruise, Dinner Cruise, Beer & Burger cruise, Pizza cruise, Water colors cruise, City Sightseeing and the Open Small Boat cruises.
Who are we looking for?
- Boatmaster's licence (groot vaarbewijs) A/B
- Marine radio (marifonie)
- Radar
- Knowledge of the Amsterdam canals as a sailing area
- Living in or coming from the Amsterdam area
- Host/hostess
What you bring
- The high season runs from April to October; the company sails all year round, including in winter.
- Holder of a boatmaster's licence;
- A marine radio (marifoon) certificate;
- Flexible, service-oriented and a good communicator;
- Experience on the Amsterdam canals is a plus;
- You speak Dutch and English;
- Preferably available in the evenings and at weekends.
